Curiosities: The architect Marianne McKenna was born in 1951 in Canada. She graduated in the United States, where she also worked professionally.

She still has a number of works in Canada and some in Germany. Among her projects, we can highlight the Jackson-Triggs winery in Canada, which has become a landmark for sustainable design and was chosen to represent Canada at the Sustainable Building Challenge that happened in Norway in 2002. Another striking design of her authorship was the reform and recovery of the Royal Conservatory of Music project in which she worked for 18 years. In addition to working in the development and execution of architectural projects, Marianne taught at several Canadian architecture schools and gave a series of lectures at an American university. In 2010, Marianne was named one of the 100 most powerful Canadian women. (Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women)
